Using the Standard Dialog Box Buttons

  Dialog boxes can have a variety of buttons, depending on the
  purpose of the dialog box.  The following table describes the
  full set of buttons that can appear in application dialog boxes.

  Click on      To
  OK           Activate your changes and dismiss the dialog box.

  Apply        Activate your changes and keep the dialog box on the
               screen for further use.

  Cancel       Dismiss the dialog box without activating any of the
               changes you have made.

  Filter       In a file selection dialog box, list the files in the directory
               specified in the Filter text-entry field.

  Help         Receive information about using the dialog box.
