Clipboard Contents Not Understood by Calendar

  The clipboard can contain data in many formats, some of
  which are incompatible with Calendar.

  The only way to copy such data into Calendar is first to open
  an entry and then to try to paste the contents of the clipboard
  into the entry.  If this operation does not work, the data is
  incompatible with Calendar and cannot be copied into it.
