Creating a Day Note You can enter information in a Day Note that is specific to a particular day but not to a particular time. Day Notes are identical to ordinary calendar entries except that they are not associated with a particular time. They are useful for denoting birthdays, anniversaries, and so on. To enter a brief Day Note: 1. Click on the entry box below the date in the Day view. The border around the entry box darkens, and the icon to the left of the box is duplicated. 2. Type in the text. 3. To complete your entry, click on the Day Note. The highlighting disappears. If you create a Day Note that is longer than one line of text, the text scrolls off the top of the display. When you click on the entry box to close the entry, the first line of text is displayed. To enter (or to read) a longer Day Note, double click on the icon to the left of the Day Note text entry field. The Day Notes Editor is displayed. You can then enter text in the Day Notes Editor's window, modify an existing entry, or adjust the alarm settings and repeat intervals.
