Cut

  To move text or images from one location in a card to
  another, or from one index card to another, choose Cut
  from the Edit menu.

  To select text, press MB1 and drag across the text.

  To select an image, click MB1 anywhere within the image.
  To indicate that it is selected, the image reverses color.

  To move text:

  1.  Choose Cut from the Edit menu.  The item disappears
      from the card.
      If you are moving text or images to another index card,
      position the pointer in the cardfile window.  Click on the
      topic of the card where you want to move.
      If you are moving items to another application, position
      the pointer in that application's window.
      For text, move the pointer to the location where you want
      to insert the item and click MB1.

  2.  Choose Paste from the Edit menu.  The item appears on
      the card.
