Paste

  To insert text or images at the current cursor location, choose
  Paste from the Edit menu.

  If the paste buffer (clipboard) contains text, the text is inserted
  at the current cursor position.

  If the clipboard contains a DDIF image, the image portion of
  the card is replaced.

  If the clipboard does not contain text or an image, an error
  message appears.

  To use the Paste menu item, first select the item by choosing
  either the Copy or Cut menu item.  You can paste text or an
  image that was cut or copied from any of the following:

  -   The current card
  -   Another index card

  -   Another application window
