Including a File in a Message Choose File... from the Read window's Create-Send menu to insert an existing file into the message you are creating. If it is a text file you can edit it. If the file does not contain text, such as a DDIF file, you cannot edit the file in Mail or add any other text to the message. To include a nontext file in a message, use File (no editor)... To include a text file in a mail message: 1. Choose File... from the Create-Send menu. Mail displays a dialog box. 2. Type the name of the file you want to include in the Selection entry box and click on OK. Mail opens a Create-Send window and displays the contents of the file. 3.
