Creating a New Folder Choose Create Folder... from the main window's Maintenance menu to create a new folder in which to store mail. The folder is created in the selected drawer. A dialog box is displayed in which you enter the name of the folder to be created. A folder name can contain up to 39 characters; it must begin with a letter or number; and it can contain letters, numbers, underscores, hyphens, dollar signs, spaces, and periods. Click on the OK button to create the folder. Empty folders are automatically deleted by Mail. If you create a new folder and do not file a message in it, the folder is deleted when the drawer is closed. Additional topics: * Overview of Mail
