Replacing Text Within a Selected Area

  To replace a text string within a given area:

  1.  Select the text that you want to replace.

  2.  Choose Replace Within Selected Area...  from the Search
      menu.

  3.  Enter the old text that you want the Notepad editor to
      replace in the Old text entry field.

  4.  Click on the New text entry field.  Enter the new text that
      you want substituted.

  5.  Click on the OK button.
