Previous...

  Choose Previous...  to search for a text string and for the
  previous occurrence of that string.  A dialog box appears.

  Type the text string that you want to search for in the text
  entry field and press Return.

  The Notepad editor searches from the current cursor position
  and highlights the previous occurrence of the text string.
  Click on the Previous button to continue to search for a
  previous occurrence of the string.

  By default, the Notepad editor treats uppercase and lowercase
  letters differently.  Click on the Case Sensitive button from
  the Options menu to make searches disregard the difference
  between uppercase and lowercase occurrences of a letter.
