Paste

  The Paste menu item allows you to put a copy of the contents
  of the clipboard onto the canvas.  Paint can paste graphic
  images, but it cannot paste text.

  To paste a copy of an image on your canvas, choose Paste
  from the Edit menu.

  Paint puts a copy of the image on the canvas, leaving it
  selected.  A copy of the image remains in the clipboard for
  later use.

  To move the image, position the pointer inside the selected
  area and drag the image to the location of your choice.

  To cancel the selection, click in another part of the window or
  select another tool.
