Creating a Resource File (Tru64 UNIX) Follow these steps to use resources to change Bookreader settings: 1. Create a file named DXBookreader.dat in your home directory. 2. Copy the file containing the default Bookreader resources into your directory using the following command: % cp /usr/lib/X11/app-defaults/DXBookreader ~/ 3. Edit your copy of DXBookreader . Delete all resources you do not want to change, then specify new values for the resources you want to customize. Each specification in the resource file follows explicit syntax rules. For more information about the re- source syntax, see Specifying Bookreader Resource Settings . 4. Append the edited fileDXBookreader to your DXBookreader.dat file. The next time you invoke Bookreader, it will first read the default values from the DXBookreader file in /usr/lib/X11/app-defaults , then it will modify the defaults using the values you specify in DXBookreader.dat . For more information about editing resources, see the man- page X (1X).
