Use the DELETE/HISTORY command to purge history lists.  You have  the
  option  of  specifying  the number of entries or the creation date of
  the earliest entry you wish to save.

  Command Syntax:

    DELETE/HISTORY [qualifiers] path-name [,path-name]...
