The .NUMBER LIST command allows you to specify, anywhere in a list, the number with which a sequence of items in a list will begin. Enter this command just before the .LIST ELEMENT command that you want to affect. Subsequent list elements will each have a number that is one greater than the number for the preceding .LIST ELEMENT command. (See also .DISPLAY ELEMENTS, with which you can specify the form the number will take.) Format .NUMBER LIST n Abreviated format .NMLS n
