The RETAINING clause specifies which currency indicators are not
  updated during the execution of the CONNECT, FETCH, FIND, MODIFY,
  RECONNECT, and STORE statements.

  Format -

   [ RETAINING [ {|   RECORD                 |} ] CURRENCY ]
   [           [ {| { SET [ set-name ] ... } |} ]          ]
   [           [ {| { { set-name } ...     } |} ]          ]

  set-name is a subschema set name.
