Syntax:  COPY user_paste_buffer

  Copies the selected text to the indicated buffer or to the clipboard.

  This command copies the currently selected text to either a
  designated buffer or to a default location (the DECwindows clipboard
  or paste buffer).  The old contents of the paste buffer or the
  clipboard are lost.
