The word (marked) in the DEPOSIT FILE display indicates that the JOBS storage area file is marked for the specified location. RdbALTER> DISPLAY FILE JOBS Area JOBS: File specification is: "DISK1:[RICK.RDB]JOBS.RDA;1" Corrupt flag is: OFF Inconsistent flag is: OFF RdbALTER> DEPOSIT FILE JOBS SPECIFICATION=DISK1:[RICK]JOBS.RDA;1 Area JOBS: (marked) File specification is: "DISK1:[RICK]JOBS.RDA;1" See the Oracle Rdb Guide to Database Maintenance for more examples of how to use the DEPOSIT FILE command.
