This screen displays a list of the "hottest", or most heavily
shared, pages in the global buffer pool. The list is sorted in
descending shared frequency and ascending starea:pageno sequence.
Since there can be many times more hot pages than displayable
geography, this screen contains multiple pages. Use the left
angle bracket (<) key to go to the previous page and the right
angle bracket (>) key to go to the next page of the screen.
The sorting sequence ensures that "page 1" contains the set of
"hottest" pages while "page n" contains the coldest pages.
This screen displays the following fields:
o Starea:PageNo- identifies the storage area number and the page
number in that storage area
o #Users- indicates the number of users sharing the page
o Version#- indicates the number of times the page has been
modified
o CkptVbn- indicates the page's current checkpoint VBN. This
field is not generally useful.
o Xfr- indicates whether or not the page is being transferred
to another user when an asterisk ("*") is displayed; this is
almost never indicated since the actual page transfer occurs
quickly.
This screen is not saved in the binary output file and cannot be
selected during binary file replay.
