The RMU Verify command checks the internal integrity of database data structures. Oracle Corporation strongly recommends that you verify your database following any kind of serious system malfunction. You should also verify your database as part of routine maintenance, perhaps before performing backup operations. You can use the various qualifiers to perform verification of the maximum number of database areas in the time available. NOTE If you use the RMU Convert command with the Nocommit qualifier to convert a database created prior to Oracle Rdb Version 6.1, and then use the RMU Convert command with the Rollback qualifier to revert to the prior database structure level, subsequent verify operations might return an RMU-W- PAGTADINV warning message. See the Usage_Notes help entry under this command for details.
